Although we would like it to happen all the time, some patients may find it challenging to get started with the Melonga app. Our goal remains to provide you with the best possible experience while managing your condition. The Melonga app is a digital product delivered to your phone online. No physical goods need to be shipped to you. There are several ways to receive it, depending on your phone type, the instructions will change a bit. Melonga is currently only available in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Belgium (German regions) and Ireland.
What is Digital Therapeutics (DTx) app?
A Digital Therapeutics app is a special category of digital mobile or web app that is regulated software that is used as a medical device for safe and effective medical care. Check out this Wikipedia article to learn more about DTx and how they are changing the healthcare.
How can I get a prescription for Melonga?
Currently, the Melonga app does not require a prescription, as it is safe and effective. This may change in future once it is covered by healthcare insurance.
Why I cannot find the Melonga app on Apple™ App store or Google™ Play store?
The Melonga app is still used by participants in the CLIMACS clinical study. There is a possibility that public comments and sentiments (both negative and positive) may bias perceptions and the study outcome. Thus, it will be freely available on those app stores starting in August 2025.
It says Melonga is only available in limited number of countries. Does it mean it will not work for people from different ethnic background?
Melonga is safe and effective to use for all people suffering from premature ejaculation, irrespective of their ethnic or cultural background, or gender. However, it is important that the user has relevant language skills to effectively follow the content and exercises.
I am not a resident of the current eligible list of country. Can I still get it?
As the Melonga app is a regulated medical product. Unfortunately, we cannot sell it to people outside the eligible list. You can email us at [email protected] to check when it will be available in your country.
I am travelling to Germany. Can I get the Melonga app and use it overseas?
For privacy and cybersecurity reasons, most app features are geographically restricted to work only within the EU. We will not be able to provide technical support or refunds for users based outside the EU.
Melonga app will be soon available via Apple® App Store or Google™ Play store. Currently, please follow the instructions emailed to you for installing it.
- Prerequisites
To install our app, you must have a compatible device and an internet connection. Android™ phones should run at least Android version 8.0 and iOS™ devices should use at least 14.0.
- Downloading Melonga app
To download our app, you need to visit the app store of your device and search for our app name. You can also scan the QR code on our website to access the app store directly.
- Launching for the first time
To launch the Melonga app, tap on the app icon on your device screen and follow the instructions to login with your existing credentials.
- Changing the Language
To change the language of the Melonga app, select it at the beginning by tapping the language button at the top right corner. While you can change the language later, doing so will reset all your activities.
How to install the Melonga app on an iOS smartphone?
iOS smartphone users can securely obtain the Melonga app through Apple’s “Testflight” app. TestFlight is an Apple app that allows us to invite selected users to use an app. Apple thoroughly tests every app deployed through TestFlight, just as any other app is tested for the Apple App Store. How to install the Melonga app on an Android smartphone?
Android smartphone users can securely obtain the Melonga app through Melonga’s website. Please refer to the following video for full instructions on how to install. it on your phone
I do not have a smartphone or a tablet. Can I still use Melonga app?
Melonga app is available only on iOS and Android smartphones and tablets for functionality and security reasons. Therefore, it is also important that you are familiar with using a smartphone or a tablet to use Melonga properly.
Still, you can use Melonga by borrowing a smartphone from your spouse or a friend, or renting one from your telecom provider. Some third-party companies that seems to rent smartphones in Germany are listed below (we have no affiliation with them, and use them only at your own risk):
How to uninstall Melonga app?
While we try our best to protect your data and privacy, we still need some info for taxation purposes. Nevertheless, we recommend creating an email address which you do not intend to use daily and delete or discard it once you have completed the Melonga app.
